extensive warranty

Cule hatches come with a 5 year limited warranty on materials and workmanship. Premium-grade acrylic Plexiglas® comes with a manufacturers 10 year guarantee.

lids

Hatch lids are made using premium European acrylic Plexiglas®. They provide a 10 year manufacturer’s guarantee against yellowing and crazing. Premium-grade acrylic ensures your hatch will stay looking good for longer. Smoked grey acrylic is standard, however other colours are available on request.

Handles 

Premium glass reinforced nylon handles are essential for maintaining boat security. Our ergonomic handle designs allow the hatch to be easily opened from the deck side, if the hatch is not locked. The closing interior handles are fitted with security locks so the hatch can be left secure whether fully closed, or in the ventilation position to allow air flow through the vessel.

Modern functional design and UV resistant materials ensure flawless operation with minimal degradation from sun or water.

unique wedge system

We use a unique wedge system to attach the acrylic to the aluminium frame. This method maximises the inherent strength and watertightness of the hatch and ensures our hatches keep you safe and dry for many years.

Hinges 

Hinge pins are 316 stainless steel encapsulated in glass-reinforced nylon. Built to last.

Telescopic Arms

Our telescopic arms use a friction stay system for ease of operation. The hatch can be opened out to 105 degrees and can be locked off in any position.

frames

Made from 100% premium 6063 alloy. Standard finish is anodised silver. Talk to us if you require black. We can also powder coat to the colour of your choice.

seals

We use only 100% premium EPDM rubber seals in our drive for the ultimate waterproof hatch.
